For some years now, St. Michael’s grief support group has been guiding and comforting those who have lost a friend or loved one on their journey toward healing and a normal and fulfilling life once again. There are many benefits in belonging to a support group. Two of the most important are understanding and caring among those who attend and hope for the future. Sometimes our friends and family let it be known that “ we should be over it by now”, but we know that each of us experience the death of a loved one in our own unique way, and there is no particular time within which we should recover from our loss. If you have suffered the loss of a loved one within the past few years, you are welcome to our group. Our meetings start on Thursday, March 3, 2022, in Room 13 (Library) at 1:30p.m. for six consecutive weeks. For further information, call Sr. Thérèse at 797-2375, x 229.
